The following have been done.
(A) All three Forming Rolls removed, sent to an outside to vendor who has inspect rolls
for
straightness, make any corrections, then
precision grind all rolls to remove any
imperfections and have been reinstalled.
(B) All (36) Upper secondary Pressure Contact Rolls Bearings has been
replaced with NEW bronze
Improved Roll Bearings.
(C) All Upper secondary Pressure Contact Rolls Holder assemblies have been inspected
and if needed replace any defected part.
(D) All (76) Lower secondary Pressure-Contact Rolls Bearings have been
removed Cleaned then inspected and replace any defected roll.
(E) Both Front and Rear Lower Support Contact Rolls Bearing Holder assemblies have
been inspected and any defective part has been replaced..
(F) All Roll Pins have been inspected for ware and where needed, replaced with new roll
pins.
(G) Removed Four Bottom Rolls Bed angle adjustment mechanism, inspected all
adjustment screws and nuts for excessive wear and if found defective, make repairs.
(H) All Outboard Sheet Support Rolls removed, have been cleaned, painted and wood roll
have been replaced with New Teflon Rolls.
(I) Upper Forming Roll Bridge Beam with two Elevation Motors, Drive Gear Box, two
Elevation Screws and Bronze Nuts, two Motor Couplers, Both Beam Side Rails, ALL
have been inspected for any deficits and any necessary repairs or parts have been
replaced. We have Inspect both Pressure Springs and Connection Rods, after
replacing gear oil in both elevation gear boxes.
(J) Inspected all Electric circuits and wires, including operator workstation, and made any
required repairs.
(K) Forming Rolls Gear Boxes drained of oil, inspected and then replaced with new oil.
(L) All Drive Chain Sprocket, Sprocket Chains, Motor Couplings have been inspected and
if found defective, repaired or replaced.
(M) All three Crankshafts – Forming Roll Universal Drive Shafts from Gear Box to Forming
Roll with Universal Joints and Couplings, have been inspected for deficiencies and
repaired if necessary.
(N) We have replaced any defective Bolts and Nuts
(O) All components have been re-painted prior to all rolls being installed.
(P) Unit is then fully re-assembled, test run under power to check all mechanical
functions for run ability.
